like online. i feel like i get all my news now from reading metro on my break at work. im not into it. newspaper websistes always have really awful layouts that confuse me and i'm suspicious that they're hiding the good stuff from me. i tried using google news but i clicked on daily mail links more times than i ever want to. i always see people posting stories here from sources i doubt they check up on, like regional papers and stuff but the news aggregator thing is like, its like smart phones its one of those things i dont know about at all, it makes me feel like my mam must feel when she tries to use the remote on her new telly although i still cant fathom the fact that she cant use that remote.

News aggregation apps shit me to tears, mainly because I know what I want to know about and aggregators keep (a) showing me the same headline from 50 different sources and (b) make guesses that are frequently wrong.

My Google Reader list is broken into two lists: one with all the sources that publish articles in full in the rss feed, the other with articles that make you click a link before they'll let you read the whole article. I use Reeder and Readability for the latter.
