Confession: When I was measuring just now I realized that my sideburns were of unequal length!

I have heard of these 'sideburns'

If I had sideburns I would look like Eddie Hitler.

i always have infinite sideburns except that one time i got a haircut and for some reason the dude shaved a line in between my burns and my beard. what is up with that?

I had to shave my beard, but I kept the sideburns and then I grew a kind of chinstrap so technically, it's a beard again but not a full one.

my hair and sideburns don't link up though - there's a tiny bald gap where my temples are, but the hair grows over it.

1-2 inches, nearer 2, thought they have been as long as 4 in the past.

it's an inverse to your shoe size thing, I reckons.

My sideburns are metric.

I hate sideburns and always shave up to a point in line with the top of my ears.

Nearly 3 inches probably. I usually get rid of them after a couple of weeks or a month again, they come back, let them stay for a couple of weeks etc.

When I get a haircut I usually cut them back to about an inch, but then every time I shave they creep a little farther down my face until they're eventually over 2 inches and ungainly.

1/2" or less. Ever since the gray/brown ratio started getting a little rich, I've kept them shorter and shorter.

One of the main reasons I like having sideburns is that it means there's less of my face that I have to shave. Kind of like why I want to put a wide strip of flowers and mulch around the perimeter of my yard and house- less to mow.

Just a bit more than 2". Measured from where the top of my ear connects to my head.

Sideburns are just wrong wrong wrong. Beard or nothing, anything else and you're just vandalizing your face.
