have you ever felt completely that you are somewhere you just don't belong?

On Friday, Vicky and I arranged to meet a friend of hers at a gigh in a pub in Fulham. We enter the venue to the worst of rock music, fret wankery a-plenty, sweat and terrible lyrics. Rod Stewart was there (very short man) with trophy blonde.

Conversations overheard:

"I felt some serious love up there on stage"
"yeah, we rocked big time"

"sorry, we've run out of bitter...... and guinness"

T-shirts seen:

Dire Straits

one of the most bizarre nights in a long time, but really fun.

Any time conversations at work start to go around children. And I live in the only Western country that seems to undergo a baby boom...

The first time I went to Vinyl in NYC I was totally intimidated. Danny Tenaglia wasn't there, and the whole crowd was very fashonista. I felt like trading in my turntables. I felt very out of place.
