Nearly A Poll Grown: Nominate Your Favorite George R. R. Martin Kooky Phrases And Words He Uses All The Time!

been way deep into Dance With Dragons lately and i'm totally back to noticing all the weirdo little words and phrases that martin likes to use all the time...want to do a poll, but i want to make sure i get them all...so SOIAF fans, don't be a fuckin' mummer's farce!

I'll start:

"He was nearly a man grown"

calling something "a mummer's farce"

a character saying "I mislike him" instead of "dislike"

saying that someone knows "much and more" about something or knows "little and less" about something

feel like i'm missing a lot of them though, he's a nutjob! :)

these are all standard olde english phrases afaict

I've noticed that everything happens in "half a heartbeat." Except once, possibly early on in ADWD, something happened "in a heartbeat" and it was like dramatic slo-mo.

It does make sense that more people are eating neeps, now, as turnips are such an important winter vegetable and winter is, obviously, coming.
