I like grits. Kinda. I think they need butter or cheese. It is interesting how oatmeal and cream of wheat and congee and virtually any other pure-starch-porridge has at least “some flavour”— grits kinda doesn’t?
I was just asked to describe their taste. I thought hard about it and said “tap water. Grits taste like tap water.”
