eep, I have an interview tomorrow, with a very large multinational company, doing kind of what I used to do back at mmm but with more power. It's decent money but it's miles away, I'm going to have to take it if offered though. It does seem very high pressured though, which is making the idle sloth in me shrink back in horror.

Memorise the phrase "I think the XXXXXXX XXXX XXXX has revolutionised the world of XXXXXXXXXX XXXX".

Pete (Pete), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:39 (twenty-three years ago)

Best of luck Chris, laziness is fun but also addictive, you need the money more than you need the time, money makes leisure activities all the better.

Ronan (Ronan), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:42 (twenty-three years ago)

possibly the most sensible thing you've ever said Fitzy!!

chris (chris), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh Chris, well done and good luck. You'll be fine. Although you'll never have a company name as good as mmm again. I will cross my fingers, touch wood, tie a yellow ribbon etc. Get your best suit out.

Anna, Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:46 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes, and I say it after asking for my hours to be cut down to 15 a week maximum, so I guess I'm a hypocrite, haha.

Ronan (Ronan), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:48 (twenty-three years ago)

it'll still be a three letter name if I get it. Big IF of course.

Best suit??? only suit!!!

chris (chris), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:50 (twenty-three years ago)

I didn't actually mention their name in public did I Nick?

chris (chris), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:55 (twenty-three years ago)

Good luck Cabbage!

Sarah (starry), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Sorry - just assumed from what Pete said above.

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 11:59 (twenty-three years ago)

it's right but I don't want me linked with their name and the word fascists!! Mr Moderator sir????

chris (chris), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 12:01 (twenty-three years ago)

Sorry Chris. Is there something in this fascism thing then? Do they have a direcktor of propaganda running ***+fascism searches and rooting out dissent?

N. (nickdastoor), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 12:04 (twenty-three years ago)

Get on it Tom

Good luck Chris.

Graham (graham), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 12:06 (twenty-three years ago)

(And also googling his own Job title to root out meta-dissenters?)

Graham (graham), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 12:07 (twenty-three years ago)

cheers chaps, and Nick, it was merely paranoia.

chris (chris), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 12:10 (twenty-three years ago)

Chris: is mmm the same company as 3M?

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 12:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Damn I missed the name, is it MFI? Good luck, break a leg, give her one for me, etc.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 12:49 (twenty-three years ago)

haha MFI - I have a friend who works for Interpol and my ex-wife thought it was MI5 but said, on one occasion, MFI. Not the sane kind of thing at all!

Good luck anyway, whether it's MI5 or MFI. Just don't tell them how good their shelving is if it's the former.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 16:53 (twenty-three years ago)

good luck.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Wednesday, 4 September 2002 17:15 (twenty-three years ago)
