I was nervous, but really more about being the focus of attention, etc. than actually getting married. If it's any consolation, the day goes by very quickly -- you'll be too busy to get too nervous.

Chris, don't be nervous.

I got married in June and, having been generally negative about the whole thing in the nine months leading up to the 'big day', I really had a good time.

Getting married is a bit like hosting a party in someone else's house. Seeing as you're paying for all the freeloading scumbags who attend, they're forced to be nice to you, and listen while you ramble on about all kinds of nonsense.

Enjoy it - once in a lifetime experience and all that!
