Yes, we stayed until they closed. It was maybe 2.30 by then. Tom forgot Anna at the Spanish bar not just because he was drunk and repeatedly singing Day Tripper, whatever music was playing, but because I rather monopolised her there. She left early*; I don't know whether those two facts are connected.

*As in about 1pm, which is a mentalist meaning of early, obv.

for those of you who remember, meg's ankle (following her missing the last step on leaving the pub) has swelled to the size of a big blue and black thing, though apart from that she's ok, although the whole fainting thing was a bit scary...
