New England Roll Call

I am going to school now in Worcester, MA., and I would like to know who is around for a drink or some food. We have marvelous diners in Worcester, but I expect that I will be taking a train to Boston, instead, cause I doubt there are enough people in Worcester for an FAP.

Also, I am a promoter, and I would like everyone who is interested to come to the shows here at Clark. My school is very apathetic, and we never sell out (show-wise. as for artistic merit, I don't choose all the shows.), so I am not averse to giving some free tickets away, as long as the demand is not too high (we gotta make *some* money unfortunately.)

Upcoming shows *may* include: J-Live and Rob Swift from the X-Ecutioners (Can. Ox was supposed to be on this bill, but they are a hassle to deal with.), and Add (n) to X (VERY tentative.)

So what's up everybody? Nice weather we are having!

I'm the other way in Northampton. Dddddddddddrinks....sure! Let me know the dates for your shows. Speak up New Englanders, we know your out there

Northampton is cool. I haven't made it that far yet. Perhaps Amherst sometime? I have found rare-as-fuck techno records for $3 at Mystery Train. One of the benefits of American techno-ignorance! Or maybe I can make it out there.

Tha hiphop show is September 26th, a thursday. Shows make me neurotic, so I will be the one alternating bad German, English and Southern accents yelling "Vat color should ze lights be tonight?" Come and say hi!

I'm in Boston. I could possibly be coerced into going to a few shows, but I tend to get hyper-busy in the fall due to the singing thing.

I'm in CT. Woot. W/ school & work, show-going is a dicey prospect; couple that w/ my lack of interest in show-going, and you got yourself a recipe for blaaaaaaah. Not to be a poop or anything - as with Mr. Dan, I am pliable like Silly Putty, given the right circumstances.

oh you don't have to come to these shows. The roll call is more for potential FAPs, with the shows as an added bonus for those who would like to come to them. This is not the "come to Aaron's shows" thread, just "New England Roll Call."

I thought this was going to be a thread about international football. Dayyymmm.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Saturday, 7 September 2002 09:39 (twenty-three years ago)

I apologixe, Matt. As for football, all I can say is that life would be incredibly boring if the US ever got good and won the world cup... maybe we should atart a thread.

As for the real subject of this thread, I know that there are more of you out there! Don't be scared!

There's going to be a small ILx quorum during Terrastock V next month.

It looks like I finally have housing now in Worcester, so I will be going. I am very happy to be back in the dorms. Kitchens in Worcester apartments were designed by people who have never cooked. And I am sick of triple deckaaaahs. Besides, I only eat meatball subs at diners, cause worcester has the best $3 meatball sub in the country.

I've been to Worcester.

eh I might as well reiterate, now that the contract is signed and the flyers are up....
