What was that connection again? I remember some sort of connection, and did it have to do with the Suburban Lawns and Super Mario Brothers the movie? Please refresh my memory.

three weeks pass...
Ferris Bueller was played by Matthew Broderick who is married to Sarah Jessica-Parker. Sarah Jessica-Parker was in the film The Shadow, with Alex Baldwin - whose brother Stephen Baldwin played Barney Rubble in The Flinstones : Viva Rock Vegas. Rubble is the name of a psychadelic rock compilation series that contains many traks which influenced Sonic Youth.

That the kind of thing you were after?

Ferris Bueller was directed by John Hughes. Hughes also directed 'Home Alone' which starred Macaulay Culkin. Culkin also appeared in the video for 'Sunday' by Sonic Youth.

Richard Edson, Sonic Youth's first drummer, is one of the parking deck attendants who take the car for a joyride.

Thurston Moore was named after Thurston Howell III from Gilligans Island. Tina Louise, who was also in Gilligans Island, has two arms. So does Ferris Bueller.

Tina Louise does not have two arms.

James Blount (James Blount), Friday, 4 October 2002 17:37 (twenty-three years ago)

Then (like Tina) I'm stumped.

Wait, was I drunk when I asked that question? There's no spelling errors, but yeah Richard Edson. I don't know where I got the other part of the question from.

You guys went to such lengths on the linking, too! John Hughes's son runs Hefty Records; Hefty Records put out a John McEntire soundtrack. Obviously it's not difficult to get from McEntire to new SY member Jim O'Rourke.

I mean, it's a lot better than "Rubble" or "they had two arms."
