Rolling pointless techheavy gadgety nonsense thread.

So yeah idk a catchall for all the physical versions of HOT NEW MUST HAVE iphone apps and so on. The main reason for me to think abt this is that I bought one of those peel things that turn your iphone/pad into a smart universal remote and despite it being totally unneccessary oh mannnnn i love it so much.

so yeah a thing that slowly learns what you like and hate and does recs for you but also searches/organizes all your broadcast realtime cable channels by genre. and lets you throw away whatever blobular shitto remote comcast is packing in with their newest cable box. good god the little whatsit thing is about the most 70s avacado fridge looking thing in the world tho.

yeah it was a misship at target so i got it for under $50. would have been much harder to justify at the $100 price tag (although now that i have it its totally worth it for peeps like me with an unending hatred for the terrible way DTV/cable menus are laid out). the other awes thing is that you can use multiple idevices (ugh) w/it so my wife and i have totally different genre layouts and i can permakill a show without affecting her and vice versa, which is way better than a shared favorite channel list like we had before.
