A life hangs in the balance...

This damn fly has been annoying me for days, flying around my room and shit. She's also fond of landing on my hair, which tickles (plus I'm not sure it's legal.)

Anyway, she's tired now and just sitting there on my table. I could easily swat her and put an end to this nuisance, but somehow it feels rotten to do so. So I'll let you lot decide for me whether I should swat her or not.

No: she might have the head of a scientist who got bodypart-swapped in an experiment which went hideously awry. Oh no!! Soon the scientist's wife will have to smash her husband's head w.an industrial piledriver and go to jail!! OH NO!!

do you have a cup to capture & take it outside in?

flies here usually end up living because by the time i find a suitable book (paperbacks are MUCH better flyswatters than hardcovers) to use, they've left.

Não mate ela, nunca mate caralho nenhum. Agora eu quero saber como você sente seu cabelo coçar?

maybe you could move the shit from your room outside and she will be attracted to fly out there.

nah, flies don't bite- the only ones that do are horse flies, which might be contained to NJ; I've never seen them in other states.

let the poor fly live, in fact put some food out for her and she will leave your hair alone ( maybe you need to wash it )

donna (donna), Sunday, 15 September 2002 01:33 (twenty-three years ago)

Bah. She's flying again now, so the point is moot.

My cat wants to "play" with her, meaning he catches her but then instead of killing the damn thing releases her again. I think he's mocking me, frankly.

mark s: I saw Jeff Goldblum on Conan today. He was bragging about how he never seems to age. Very creepy.

what if it's an experimental horse fly?

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 15 September 2002 09:25 (twenty-three years ago)

I want to know how you are sure it's the same fly. How do you tell them apart?
