(This is my first ever attempt at movie making - and done in a bit of a hurry - so I am SURE that you can make a better version of this and post it here.............)

C J (C J), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:16 (twenty-three years ago)

integral and tremendous!!

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:19 (twenty-three years ago)

Why, thank you! A bit of fun for a Sunday afternoon, I thought.

C J (C J), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:22 (twenty-three years ago)

"Better than the Bourne Identity" Dom Passantino, Cynicist's Review.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:30 (twenty-three years ago)

FABIO!!!

vic (vicc13), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:33 (twenty-three years ago)

It's right up there with Bring it on!!

chris (chris), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:41 (twenty-three years ago)

Ah, but who was supposed to be who?

Nicole (Nicole), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:51 (twenty-three years ago)

wasn't it rainy and ned?

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:52 (twenty-three years ago)

rainy is wearing ned's panties obv

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:54 (twenty-three years ago)

You guessed!!

C J (C J), Sunday, 15 September 2002 13:58 (twenty-three years ago)

I like how Ned appears to grimace when he asks if he can eat lemong.

Graham (graham), Sunday, 15 September 2002 14:00 (twenty-three years ago)

I have now finished scenes 1-6 of my epic ILE movie. Unfortunately I'm not sure how to link them across from there.

nabisco (nabisco), Sunday, 15 September 2002 20:20 (twenty-three years ago)

(Appearing in scenes 1-6, "Off to the Pub, Parts One and Two," are Katie, Gareth, Tom, Sarah, Martin, Anna, Emma, Suzy, Momus, and a very special appearance by Ronan and DV.)

nabisco (nabisco), Sunday, 15 September 2002 20:22 (twenty-three years ago)

blub

Graham (graham), Sunday, 15 September 2002 20:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh, I see:

Off to the Pub, PT. ONE: http://mm.dfilm.com/mm2s/mm_route.php?id=296025

Off to the Pub, PT. TWO: http://mm.dfilm.com/mm2s/mm_route.php?id=296052

(Graham, you're slated to appear in PT. THREE. Also forthcoming: Off to the Pub, NEW YORK STYLE.)

nabisco (nabisco), Sunday, 15 September 2002 21:55 (twenty-three years ago)

Off to Pub, PT. THREE: http://mm.dfilm.com/mm2s/mm_route.php?id=296239

nabisco (nabisco), Sunday, 15 September 2002 22:17 (twenty-three years ago)

Ronan and Momus's music got lost, somehow, which is very sad in the case of Ronan. But I think Emma's boudouir makes up for it.

nabisco (nabisco), Sunday, 15 September 2002 22:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Perfect: SUZY'S HAIRCUT, Anna, Ronan, Katie, Hanley's House
Explain: DV, Sarah

Gareth is a perfect mark s (though as his mental not physical age, obv.)

Graham (graham), Sunday, 15 September 2002 22:36 (twenty-three years ago)

I made one but how can I make a link to it I wonder?

Mike Hanle y (mike), Sunday, 15 September 2002 22:58 (twenty-three years ago)

http://mm.dfilm.com/mm2s/mm_route.php?id=296313

Mike Hanle y (mike), Sunday, 15 September 2002 22:59 (twenty-three years ago)

hanle y = l ynch

bnw (bnw), Monday, 16 September 2002 00:10 (twenty-three years ago)

I laughed out loud. More than once. You are good.

Kim (Kim), Monday, 16 September 2002 03:40 (twenty-three years ago)

v v good!!! There is REAL TALENT out there!

C J (C J), Monday, 16 September 2002 04:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Graham: I thought the DV = Uncle Sam thing would just be patently funny! As for Sarah, well, there's a bit of a dearth of human females on the characters list; I thought about using "Suzy" for her and her for "Suzy," but something about the snowsuit just seemed Sarahish to me. (This might be the subconscious influence of Ramosi's Ice-Blast fantasy.)

nabisco (nabisco), Monday, 16 September 2002 05:57 (twenty-three years ago)

Cool films!

I shall make my own film later! Am I in parts 4-6?

jel -- (jel), Monday, 16 September 2002 08:01 (twenty-three years ago)

I like the fact I appear to have turned into a 'Tell Me'-era Madonna.

Anna (Anna), Monday, 16 September 2002 08:40 (twenty-three years ago)

I do not like the fact that I appear to be deformed but I do like my bedroom.

Emma, Monday, 16 September 2002 08:42 (twenty-three years ago)

I think it's because you're holding the phone between your chin and shoulder.

Anna (Anna), Monday, 16 September 2002 08:55 (twenty-three years ago)

ha ha. katie's sold out to the man. i larfed non-stop, then pouted for a while.

Alan (Alan), Monday, 16 September 2002 08:57 (twenty-three years ago)

Still "Such Is Emma" is now your catchphrase. It encapsulates your essence.

Unlike the big shaggy monster I have become. You got Graham's hair right too - he was just a bit chattier than usual.

Pete (Pete), Monday, 16 September 2002 09:01 (twenty-three years ago)

It's not just the weird neck /phone thing though (actually I almost never hold the phone like this so Such Am I Not), it's my weirdly deformed stomach. As soon as I saw Pete I knew it was him though. Ha ha.

(oh and 'my essence'? Ew....)

Emma, Monday, 16 September 2002 09:07 (twenty-three years ago)

But your stomach does look like that.

Graham (graham), Monday, 16 September 2002 09:10 (twenty-three years ago)

so does mine, ferky :(

mark s (mark s), Monday, 16 September 2002 09:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Emma looked like a heroin addict, I was a bit Kevin Wonder Years but I'm having a good day so meh.

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 16 September 2002 11:24 (twenty-three years ago)

hahahahahaaa that is GENIUS!!!!!! (graham's hair = spot on)

katie (katie), Monday, 16 September 2002 11:41 (twenty-three years ago)

Ronan you were more Donny OSmond i thought...

katie (katie), Monday, 16 September 2002 11:41 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh well everyone loves Donny Osmond...er right?

Ronan (Ronan), Monday, 16 September 2002 11:50 (twenty-three years ago)

how do you know what clothes I wear to work? you are spying on me.

DV (dirtyvicar), Monday, 16 September 2002 14:18 (twenty-three years ago)

I like the snow suit Sarah.

Anna (Anna), Monday, 16 September 2002 14:51 (twenty-three years ago)

rainy is wearing ned's panties obv

*befuddled, views movie*

Oh my.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 16 September 2002 15:03 (twenty-three years ago)

Oops, there go Ned's panties/All over Rainy/Oh my!

Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Monday, 16 September 2002 15:11 (twenty-three years ago)

Oh mama, you make it sound so good.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 16 September 2002 15:13 (twenty-three years ago)

I take Rainy wearing your panties was a painful experience somehow then? Do tell.

Graham (graham), Monday, 16 September 2002 15:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Some secrets are best kept.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 16 September 2002 15:21 (twenty-three years ago)

At this point, could I please just apologise to Ned and Rainy?

I'm (almost) sorry I started this thread now............

C J (C J), Monday, 16 September 2002 15:25 (twenty-three years ago)

Heavens, don't apologize to me, I loved it!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 16 September 2002 15:27 (twenty-three years ago)

http://mm.dfilm.com/mm2s/mm_route.php?id=298278

wahoo!

jel -- (jel), Monday, 16 September 2002 16:12 (twenty-three years ago)

Needs a third act, jel. You are all genii tho' :)

Jeff W, Monday, 16 September 2002 16:49 (twenty-three years ago)

I am far more handsome hear than in reality. I am telling Anna to hurry - and we were the first regulars to arrive at the pub on Friday last! And I have complimented Anna's hat before, though it didn't look anything like that.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 16 September 2002 18:36 (twenty-three years ago)

Am I alone in actually recognising that particular sumo rikishi, in the Mark S role? It's the great Hawaiian yokozuna Musashimaru, who always looks comically sad => he is one of my all-time favourites.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Monday, 16 September 2002 18:45 (twenty-three years ago)

A Very ILE Marriage Proposal

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Friday, 8 November 2002 05:17 (twenty-two years ago)

Argh - ignore that, it links to Momus's. Mine has disappeared!

Tim Finney (Tim Finney), Friday, 8 November 2002 05:20 (twenty-two years ago)

I kid because I love. (In the interest of fairness, I tried to make both characters look equally asinine.)

Nate Patrin (Nate Patrin), Friday, 8 November 2002 05:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Hey wait, Sean C used the NosMomus figure to represent me in his own animation! What does it MEANNNNNNN?

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 8 November 2002 06:57 (twenty-two years ago)

http://mm.dfilm.com/mm2s/mm_route.php?id=482770 (Nate totally stole half my jokes before I made them.)

bnw (bnw), Friday, 8 November 2002 08:32 (twenty-two years ago)

Think of this as ilXor -- The Prequel.

Waiting for ILX by Momuel Beckett.

Momus (Momus), Friday, 8 November 2002 10:34 (twenty-two years ago)

MomusFeratu, shurely. Hee, gay minifigs. I've nearly bust a rib trying not to scream with laughter, looking at all these in sequence. Thungue ith vewwy bithen.

Liz :x (Liz :x), Friday, 8 November 2002 11:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Ned's question answered!

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 8 November 2002 20:47 (twenty-two years ago)

D'oh.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 8 November 2002 20:49 (twenty-two years ago)

Oh crud, did I forget the third scene where all was revealed?

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 8 November 2002 20:57 (twenty-two years ago)

You're such a tease!

C J (C J), Friday, 8 November 2002 21:05 (twenty-two years ago)

If unintentionally left out, d'oh again! If intentionally, brilliant. :-)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 8 November 2002 21:12 (twenty-two years ago)

The studio wanted me to tack on a happy ending, but I stood my ground. You'll have to wait for the DVD to see the ending they proposed, as well as some out-takes. The part where Momus skids on a banana peel on his way in is hilarious!

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Friday, 8 November 2002 21:26 (twenty-two years ago)

That was fanfuckingtastic.

Ally (mlescaut), Saturday, 9 November 2002 03:37 (twenty-two years ago)

I am drunk.

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Saturday, 9 November 2002 04:27 (twenty-two years ago)

see, I told you so

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Saturday, 9 November 2002 04:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Dialing random numbers into the URL is not recommended

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Saturday, 9 November 2002 05:30 (twenty-two years ago)

You're insane! That second one is the best.

(p.s. you're on ILE! How did this happen?)

Kim (Kim), Saturday, 9 November 2002 05:43 (twenty-two years ago)

The REAL ILX Movie

Andrew (enneff), Saturday, 9 November 2002 06:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Aaron: have I mentioned that I recognise the yokozuna on whom that sumo figure is based? It's a great Hawaiian named Musashimaru, who always looks as sad as a bloodhound.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 9 November 2002 20:30 (twenty-two years ago)

I did not know that, Martin. I like sumo, but it is difficult to follow. ESPN2 has it on every so often.
Did you know that I am not deep or insightful, and that the words from my movie were written by Rousseau?

I made another movie last night. It is pathetic.

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Saturday, 9 November 2002 20:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Yes, I recognised the quote - I thought that most of ILX would know it was a quote, and maybe where from, whereas I thought I'd be in a tiny minority on recognising one of my favourite sumo rikishi.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 9 November 2002 23:05 (twenty-two years ago)

i made a movie but i couldn't work out how to distribute it to ilxor! :(

(luckily it wz high concept so i can remake it real easy!!)

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 10 November 2002 13:45 (twenty-two years ago)

how do i discover my ID number?

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 10 November 2002 13:53 (twenty-two years ago)

look on the back of your head

chaki (chaki), Sunday, 10 November 2002 14:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Mark - when you've made your film, email it to yourself. Then when you play it, you'll see what the ID number is and you can copy and post the link.

(I hadn't thought of typing in random ID numbers - that's been a lot of fun!!)

C J (C J), Sunday, 10 November 2002 14:50 (twenty-two years ago)

(I hadn't thought of typing in random ID numbers - that's been a lot of fun!!)

The one for "666" seems to feature some sort of Scandinavian lezzie action, which figures.

The one for "69" is a must-see.

Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Sunday, 10 November 2002 15:31 (twenty-two years ago)

helming complete, unpooling at yr leisure

mark s (mark s), Sunday, 10 November 2002 15:32 (twenty-two years ago)

It's a silent film masterpiece!

Ned Raggett (Ned), Sunday, 10 November 2002 15:35 (twenty-two years ago)

and the one for 1977 is Punkx0r!

Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Sunday, 10 November 2002 15:37 (twenty-two years ago)

yup, smells like 1942 to me

Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Sunday, 10 November 2002 15:40 (twenty-two years ago)

I just put in my own birth year for shits n giggles, and it wasn't too bad.

When I showed this to my partner, she decided she had to make a movie herself. I dunno why, but I laughed at it for a good 20 minutes.

Sean Carruthers (SeanC), Sunday, 10 November 2002 19:27 (twenty-two years ago)

five months pass...
If I ever get time, I think I will make a ilx movie using action figures. Giles will be playing the role of Mark S., and Wolverine can be the Pinefox, and Keroppi will be Momus. Beyond that, I haven't worked it all out yet.

Nicole (Nicole), Monday, 28 April 2003 12:43 (twenty-two years ago)

If you have a my little pony, it should be ally.

Sarah McLusky (coco), Monday, 28 April 2003 12:55 (twenty-two years ago)

WOLVERINE as The Pinefox?!?!!

Matt DC (Matt DC), Monday, 28 April 2003 12:56 (twenty-two years ago)

wouldn't wolverine play col1n sm3dley?

Sarah McLusky (coco), Monday, 28 April 2003 13:01 (twenty-two years ago)

No, I would use a little stuffed bear for Connor. That kind of looks like a Werewolf. Or a sock puppet, maybe.

Nicole (Nicole), Monday, 28 April 2003 13:03 (twenty-two years ago)

I think I should be played by one of the Misfits, actually. Kate can be Jem and we will have sexy mud wrestle fite.

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 April 2003 13:57 (twenty-two years ago)

I want a trailor complete with velvet curtain and couches. I also demand a robe be on hand at all times. And my chair must read "pimp daddy" on the back.

Chris V. (Chris V), Monday, 28 April 2003 14:00 (twenty-two years ago)

I wanna be Cyclops!

jel -- (jel), Monday, 28 April 2003 15:29 (twenty-two years ago)

Jel, that can be arranged.

Nicole (Nicole), Monday, 28 April 2003 15:37 (twenty-two years ago)

if it helps, I've seen both Jesus and Sigmund Freud action figures in a shop in town.

jel -- (jel), Monday, 28 April 2003 15:45 (twenty-two years ago)

I just GOTTA BE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....

(But I don't think there are any me action figures.)

Ned Raggett (Ned), Monday, 28 April 2003 16:04 (twenty-two years ago)

Ned, to be honest I was thinking of using The Thing. Not because you look like him, I don't know why exactly.

Nicole (Nicole), Monday, 28 April 2003 16:17 (twenty-two years ago)

You know, there are websites where you can make your own action figures.

Ally (mlescaut), Monday, 28 April 2003 16:23 (twenty-two years ago)

Where? Where? That's rad!

jel -- (jel), Monday, 28 April 2003 16:25 (twenty-two years ago)

Anyway, I might get the lego film camera and make "ilxor the movie".

jel -- (jel), Monday, 28 April 2003 16:26 (twenty-two years ago)

the Neditee

Chris V. (Chris V), Monday, 28 April 2003 16:27 (twenty-two years ago)

Nicole, I demand that you cast these action figures:

http://www.collectorman.com/nsync.html

jel -- (jel), Monday, 28 April 2003 16:34 (twenty-two years ago)

one year passes...
I am deeply saddened by the fact that none of the fillums seem to work now.

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Sunday, 31 October 2004 03:01 (twenty years ago)
