"pub cheese" (and port wine cheese, and low-end cheese spreads)

and i've said it before, but the pumpernickel pretzel sticks are awesome -- they're crying out for a nice sharp fondue or at least a "pub cheese."

I've never seen this in the UK. People from other countries who are eating 'pub cheese' and thinking that they're doing something that people in the UK do are fooling themselves.

Ive seen similar spreadable cheese here in Aus, but its called "spreadable cheddar" and whatnot, nfi what pub cheese is but GIS make me feel ill.

"Pub cheese" is totally different from Cheese Whiz. Pub cheese has mostly actual cheese, whereas Cheese Whiz is "cheese food product" or whatever they have to call it. Texture is entirely different, too.

I do not know pub cheese, but I will eat the heck out of some port wine cheese if I end up near it at a party or luncheon or whatever.

I mean, when I buy cheese I'm all artisanal and snobby and stuff, but I secretly lOve cheese-cube party trays and spreadable processed cheese products.

I don't think I've ever actually had one but there's something very appealing to me about cheese logs. They're pretty colors!
