this is where i will be this saturday. ain't no block party like a western mass block party cuz a western mass block party don't stop!
We will again be throwing our 4th of July festivities this year, this time on Saturday the 7th. It is looking like this year we are expanding it into a neighborhood block party. Tons of music, food, drink, dancing, games, and all out fun for the whole family. We will have James St. closed off so there will be plenty of space for kids to play during the day.
PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE DRIVING TO THE PARTY WE ASK THAT YOU HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER TO GET YOU HOME. THERE WILL BE BEVERAGES FLOWING AND WE CARE ABOUT YOU, SO DON'T SCREW AROUND WITH THIS ONE.
THERE WILL BE CAMPING SPACE AVAILABLE, SO BRING A TENT IF YOU LIKE, THERE WILL BE BRUNCH SERVED ON SUNDAY FOR THOSE WHO STAY THE NIGHT.
What to Bring:
Pretend you are tailgating. Bring food to share (serving bowl and utensils would be helpful, and there will be grills setup and available to use), chairs or blankets to sit on, anything else that you might want for shade and enjoyment. We will have some tents setup, but bring what makes you comfortable. If you want to stay the night, just let us know and we will set you up.
Beverages:
Fortunately we have a beverage company. This year we will have 8 taps setup on the deck with a bartender holding it down. We have been brewing our own beer and we will have a full spread of tasty beverages available. Taps include:

Green River Ambrosia Ginger Libation
Peoples Pint/Green River Ambrosia collaboration Saison
Our own beer! Hefeweizen, Belgian Triple and Pale Ale.

We will be accepting donations for the drinks in order to cover the cost of making them, so please contribute as you feel appropriate so we can make it happen again next year. Suggested donation is $3 per drink.

We will be setting up a stage on the street out front as well as Dj's in the evening in our yard.

What are you bringing to play?
Fireworks: The Greenfield Fireworks are at 9:35, so we will have a crew hiking up to the top of the ridge for a beautiful perspective on the show. Should be a great interlude between the bands and DJ's. You might want to bring a headlamp or flashlight for the hike through the woods.
