The Best of Windows Entertainment Pack (BOWEP) was a collection of thirteen 16-bit simple games sold separately from Windows. It was published in the Microsoft Home series of software. They were selected as the best games from the previously released Microsoft Entertainment Pack series. The games were:

rearranging pipes + dropping bricks into place. interesting that as information sector was dramatically replacing labor sector, it started enacting recreational versions of traditional labor occupations: plumbing, carpentry...

choosing just one of these is fiendishly difficult, i went through phases of loving almost every one of them. in terms of time spent playing, probably tetris or taipei, but how i loved chip's challenge and jezzball and skifree...
