you're not a jerk; this is annoying and even though art is work, imo any real artist would be a bit embarrassed to have their life/work/art talked about like this on a poster that seems to speak for all artists. work is work and sometimes it's passionate and sometimes it's art.

i feel like such a crank cuz people share that all over the place on facebook and the responses to it are always OH GOD YES A THOUSAND TIMES I CAN'T LIKE THIS ENOUGH POWER TO THE PEOPLE and i'm always tempted to post something really mean but i don't cuz i'm not THAT big of a jerk.

it's REALLY narcissistic and kinda weird to think that people buy art in order to suck up the "passion" of the artist like a vampire. people like art so they can form their own meanings/interpretations/relationships to it.
