I've loved this actor ever since he brought a warm, generous spirit and an earthy physicality to his unhip Republican banker character on Six Feet Under. Roles as nice-guy husbands/fathers in Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Away We Go and as a slightly obnoxious version of the same in Greenberg added to his appeal. Now I'm watching the fourth season of Damages and am marveling at his transformation into a PTSD-afflicted soldier with a sense of idealism and a thick beard. Forget James Franco, this guy's got great lips.
