I expect both worship and mocking.

Er, Anthony, haven't you asked rather a lot of questions for one day?

How about: Going for a walk - under-rated in the age of the internet?

Momus, Sunday, 12 August 2001 00:00 (twenty-four years ago)

I will go to church in an hour or so and then go to bed.
You will not hear from me in a few hours.

i will expand that. I am a depressive who has more then a touch of isnomnia. I try to get everything i need done during the day (between noon and ten pm usually.). I then spend my night reading, writing, cooking , posting on IL*. I do walk , i attend parties , i go to movies . But at 4 am what else is left . I am not sure if you mean posting questions or answers . If i am doing both i will severly restrict myself . Or stop if needed.

You've posted some great ones, Anthony. But even at 4am, 'The last ten years in art' seems a bit like clutching at straws! All the other questions today have been on pretty much the same subject, haven't they?

Your answers are funny and accurate though. More answers, please, fewer questions.

Ignore him, anthony: he's just playing at Board Censor w/o letting on. The threads will mutuate into what they want to be anyway: snce when has the QUESTION determined the ANSWERS on ile?

I kind of wanted to conslaidate . We seemed to be prancing about , i wanted a central thread. CAn i put your praise on my resume ?

Momus, there's freedom of speech. Even if there wasn't, I would demand Anthony post as much. If not more. I still hope he can battle hi insomnia. Saw Fightclub last night and was reminded of Anthony (the first fifteen minutes anyway).

I was talking with my mother about art. She mentioned seeing a mediocre film in which one of the characters proclaimed there are no rules in art.

You're right, sorry, I was mixing this board up with the other one, where it says 'Hello dear person, don't post if it's the weekend, or you've already posted today...'

But I do think going for walks is under-rated. This board is just too bloody addictive. My body has forgotten how to move, and I'm supposed to be mixing down a record to deliver to the label by 4pm tomorrow!

Art as it appears in cinema = a grate topic in itself. Not just LUST FOR LIFE, either, but the draculoid portraiture in Hammer, and just what peeps have on the walls in eg the stadard-issue Manhattan Crack Up Movie. Also when Pepe le Pew and Mr Magoo go to (= thru) an art gallery: what pix did the Hubleys place there?

All about walking here, mr momus.
