so archive.org recently started torrenting their stuff and Rescue from Gilligan's Island is among the top 25 snatches
presumably because someone let the copyright lapse?

I'll watch almost anything labelled "film noir," and archive has some classics (D.O.A.; Detour and some that aren't really film noir that I found enjoyable: Quicksand with Mickey Rooney a bit too old for a juvenile delinquent type role, and The Hoodlum starring Lawrence Tierney as a lifetime loser, both cliched and maudlin and yet unrelentingly grim for 1951.

Downloaded a buncha French film noir films to watch on the tablet while staying at my mum's. It's really not the greatest resource when you're looking for something specific but awesome if you're willing to just browse and find random stuff to enjoy.
