this is what i was urging, i mean it would be a beef lancing thread, that shit is obviously festering for a lot of ppl out there as is anyway like

to be a little earnest, i think it's kind of a good thing that conflicts mostly happen in the moment and in context and that not everyone knows exactly what's going on -- having a bunch of 3rd party chatter about 'beef' just kind of cements the dynamics between 2 strangers occasionally typing at each other, which really if we're going to pretend it's a big deal at all might as well be fluid and open to change and rehabilitation. too many times here over the years i've been too cavalier w/ people i didn't know and made them feel disliked before i really knew them a fraction as well as i do now, and in most cases i think hashing out some explicit feud at the time would not have helped anything.

Yeah, I mostly just try to ignore or play nice with anyone I have beef with here. Not that there are many who fit that bill.

just stay off the "best before date" thread, i imagine Old Lunch would be given a really hard time there
