Button Moon/Mr Spoon

I have very vague memories of this show from when I was 2 or 3, but I always thought Mr Spoon was an actual spoon not some weird person with spoon arms. Why was he always going to the moon? What is that mysterious spoon band?

Great, Elisabeth's video turned up and it's fantastic. I like to think they just dubbed out Mr Spoon's voice because he tends to swear too much.

he always went to the moon, because in every episode he looked at the moon through his telescope and saw something (bad?) was going on, and went to sort it out. his rocket was made out of a Heinz bean can if i remember. TV Cream doesn't have much information

one month passes...

button moon is so kool i loved it as a kid n still do! if u didnt watch it u missed out! as 4 'why did he go 2 the moon so much?', wud u refuse an offer 2 go ther as it is such a groovy place (aaah i sound obsessed! lol! )
