yeah as the rant progress, like when it hits the 20:00 mark or so and she starts chiding birthers and 9/11 truthers for being idiots and attacking people who say Obama is a Muslim for getting the facts wrong, there's this weirdly sobering sense that deep under all the crazy (and there's a LOT) there is someone with principles and some sense of what does and does not constitute evidence- but you have to trawl through her kind of tragic narcissism and neediness about people liking her videos and who liked what etc. to get there

when looking at her facepic and her kind of stereotypically midwestern butch hairdo I am wondering if this is what patricia highsmith was like in her late super alcoholic anti-semitic period, i.e. a very drunken and venomous person whose intelligence and sheer athletic belligerence just took a disastrous wrong turn and now thrashes in a void whose contours are in part shaped by a surrounding culture that has few outlets for opinionated women

but then I just think "wow, she's a crazy ass freak" and get back to my life
