I don't know why, but I am very interested in finding and photographing fat squirrels. Most of the squirrels I see are pretty svelte but I know from google image search that there are fat squirrels out there and today, after months of being on the lookout, I finally found and took a decent photo of a fat squirrel. When I was a kid we used to get a lot of fat squirrels hanging out and building nests because we had a big yard full of trees and no dogs or cats around to harass them. In the summer the really fat ones would just lie on their back or stomach on a branch of a tree because it was too hot for them to move their fat selves around the way the other squirrels could.
