i used to have all these naked pictures of chloes sevigny on my wall that i photocopied out of an issue of purple magazine. mainly because i thought it was lol how "ehn w/e" her expression is in all of them. v difficult poll. both so specific as icons of a particular thing.

Saw the Bonjour Tristesse remake today. Saw the original ages ago; never read the novel...All three female leads (Sevigny, Lily McInerny, Nailia Harzoune) were very good; the two male leads might have been good too, I don't know--I wanted to smack both of them upside the head for insufferable sensitivity. Felt like kind of a nothing film in the end.
