Because you can hear it on For All Mankind. May be a cover version with variant title "Sleepwalking." Probably wasn't Apollo 8 crew, but tonight is anniversary of first orbiting of the moon.

I'm traveling over the next couple of weeks and ripped my copy of For All Mankind onto my laptop. Creatively stuck at the moment and plowing through mission transcripts will give me something to obsessively focus on without much in the balance. Or something.

I had this thread bookmarked for over a year, until I finally decided to get to the bottom of this. The version of "Sleepwalk" that you hear in For All Mankind doesn't come from Apollo audio - it's one of the few non-Eno tracks in the movie. However, one question that I did have was this: who was the first astronaut to make a road trip mix tape for space. I started digging and the research just got better and more interesting. Reporting back soon...

Here is the imdb credit about the song in question:
Sleepwalking Performed by Lee DeCarlo and Peter Manning Robinson Written by Santo Farina (as Farina), Johnny Farina (as Farina), Ann Farina (uncredited) Licensed by Trinity-Clima Music (BMI)
Here is a link in which it seems to be tangentially mentioned:https://www.austinchronicle.com/music/1997-09-26/518466/

As the latter link indicates, one of the artists was a recording engineer who worked with John Lennonhttps://recordcollectormag.com/articles/lennons-last-session-the-making-of-double-fantasy-440

I emailed Rusty Schweickart about a month ago. I haven't heard back - probably too much 50th anniversary stuff going on right now. I wanted to go to the Apollo 9 50th reunion/celebration at the San Diego Aerospace Museum but it was priced way out of my league.
