Aren't these running two a year now? The Celeb editions, I mean?

We sigh, and we cry, and we wonder why..

OK, so there seems to be a certain 'excitement' in one national newspaper or less, and Rylan from X-Factor seems to be touted as a possible, but why would he? He's doing OK for TV at the moment, and nowadays celebs that go in seem to hit the obscurity bottom while they are there, never mind after they get out...

Rumours I've heard thus far - Lindsay Lohan and Toadie from Neighbours. I have just looked through the lists of previous contestants and dear God, that's one shitload of obscurity right there.

xp Rylan's doing the X Factor Tour, which starts at the end of this month. He's not going to be reduced to doing CBB for a long time.

I've heard of Tricia Penrose because my old English teacher taught her, and I've heard of Sam Robertson because I know someone who went to school with him. Makes me think that I have a decent chance of rounding up a group of people more famous than this one for my own rival CBB.

If I'd seen pictures of them all beforehand with no other knowledge I'd have recognised

Fight night, jungle cats, secret house with Emma and Michelle, the Shell and Victor wedding task, Ahmed plate smashing, NOOOO NAKED JACOOOOOOZI...

Had a look last night, the task involved two groups doing "Tragedy" dance routine (saw the last one).

Was quite amusing, but did feel like that last scene in St Elmos Fire where they look at the bar and see it's all the same and decide not to bother..

It wasn't two groups doing Tragedy, it was one group doing Tragedy, and the other (including Claire) doing Reach For The Stars. She didn't seem to be at all bothered about it though.

I don't even know why we're watching this time, this is the first BB I've watched since it moved to Channel 5.

Seems the producers have decided the best way to avoid any racism scandal is to exclude black people but include actual racists.

carol mcgiffin was telling another housemate about ron atkinson's recent fall from grace and quoted the word he used, then got dragged into the diary room and told off for it. she apologised and didn't try to defend herself.

bit later ron was talking to a woman with a towel wrapped round her head, which looked slightly like a headscarf, and said "you're not carrying a bomb are you." he too was taken to the diary room and told off but did the classic non-apology apology "well i'm sorry if i upset anyone by what i said," implication being 'what i said was fine and i'm not sorry for saying it, i'm only sorry for getting in trouble'.

thought the carol thing was dodgy as she clearly said the n-word quoting someone else. weird and not helpful for bb to disregard context.
