ok i am feeling like i might have jumped the gun on this, do people want me to slow my roll until we get past other ilx ballot polls or?

I watched two of these that were on my to-do list last night: The Shrine and Unhappy Birthday.

The Shrine does what it says on the tin. Villagers, hooded robes, dark customs, one really REALLY fucked up idea for a death mask, a decent twist. It will probably make my ballot.

Unhappy Birthday is not on jjj's list but I watched it due to a mention from Mr. Hal Jam as a sorta Wicker Man ripoff. it gets you on its side right off the bat with a wonderful opening credits sequence but soon falls apart completely; the actors are okay but their characters are consigned to behaving like quantum particles, bleh it just sucks. But put it on the list cause the opening title visuals at least mean it can't be the worst of the year.

I need to get round to Wolfman the long cut of which has been on my HD for over a year. And Devil if it's rentable on iTunes...

imdb says that "Unhappy Birthday" came out in 2011, but it doesn't sound like it's absence will break your heart from that description.

Oh ok on Netflix it's marked as 2010.

unfortunately i have not seen a vast majority of these movies so maybe i am just going to vote for black swan 10x

I would make recs but that would p much constitute me revealing my ballot :(

2010 was a rough year, maybe it will be fun to go back and relive it through the horror movies i enjoyed. i have seen a handful of these, enough to make a tiny ballot.

well i think i might have jumped the gun on this, because so far i have only my ballot and the one that i received - id like to get at least the same number of ballots as the 2011 one, so how much time do people need?
