What the heck are "burrito stalls" and "pottery"? I mean, I know the words, but I've no idea how they relate to ILX...

I can barely remember anything from the last 12 months, I guess that means it was pretty boring with the exception of pockets of ILM and ILF.

I liked the horror poll too. Did not enjoy the clusterfuck season.
Apparently I made a joke about pottery the other day on the too much time on ilx thread but I still don't know why it was funny. Won't someone tell me?

All I know was that it was an autoreplace that forksclovetofu made, around the time that he replaced "race war" with "burrito stall".

pottery was a lame prank that deems and iatee pulled on a bunch of gullibles (including me)

The movie genre polls were great fun. I wish we could wipe our memories and all traces of their existence and do them again. But, alas, the official list of best comedies ever has been set in stone (yer welcome, Morbs).

The comedy poll was fun, the horror poll kicked ass. Don't know/care enough about action movies to have participated in that one but I'm sure it was fun too.

Those film polls and then catching on the two dance polls was all fun.

Liked The Dark Knight Rises discussions, most of the film threads, ILB in general.

I saw Dark Knight Rises too late to really participate in the discussions aside from my normal "you guys really enjoy hating things" position

I was one of the few loving it and saying so, probably not vigorously enough.

i think I was called upon to defend Avatar on here during 2012 c.e., sure it'll happen again in the coming.

Avatar had the thinnest, dumbest plot imaginable but succeeded wildly on the visual spectacle scale, to the point where the plot was nonessential

yeah the horror poll was definitely a highlight of '12* for me. i never got it together enough to remember to vote in comedy or action, or i'm sure i would have enjoyed those as well. (though not as much horror.)

*and not just in terms of ilx, which probably speaks volumes about this year.

I have a healthy addition to films to watch from both the Comedy and Action polls, but the Horror poll was ILX at its best to me - I am too much of a wuss to watch any of them, but hearing what different people find in horror and how that rubs up against other people's likes was f.ascin.ating.

Massive four-thread witch hunt on WCC is not a highlight, but still probably my main memory.

Continue to portray it in the way that makes the most sense to you, I guess.
