this "2013 Creative Pay-It-Forward" thing is about 25% of the current posts on my wall. quarantine it before it creates a shadow economy of terrible mix cds and hand-written notes.

I put a post-it note in a jar every time I want to post to ilx. At the end of 2013, I will post them all.

This feels like the year I give up on facebook. My new year's rez is to pay less attention to the fuckin internet, something's gotta go, and it ain't gonna be ilx.

half the stuff i post on facebook is stuff that i end up posting here anyway and the same damn people see it!

one thing though is i kinda use facebook as my flickr now. for pictures. might just upload pictures on there when i need to.

and local people can get ahold of me if they need to. i'm at my store 6 days a week. they know where to find me.

and that just leaves various noise musicians and people i don't really know anyway. they don't need me for anything.

The only person I've seen doing it was an ilxor. To be honest, it didn't seem all that bad to me, but I guess if my feed was flooded with it then I'd find it excruciating.

see i never did myspace or friendster or any of that so i'm not used to the daily updates by normal people. they're all fine and nice and i will like a picture of a potato or whatever if they post one but i'd rather just see them from time to time on the street. you freaks on the other hand are stuck with me and i never needed another place to waste time when i had this place.
