I forgot to come back and tell u I saw this. I really dug it! Dayo otm :)
It's like a weird fairytale, reminded me a lot of the old tv show Monkey Magic, with the comedic aspects of it at times, and that mythology-feel to it. And loool at the nasal cavity bugs + golden thread, all that magical realism stuff is so fun. And the reveal about the real motives of Wheel King cracked me up.
I will definitely see if I can find a hq version to watch at home: watching it on a tiny youtube screen felt like such a waste.

yeah, I was gonna say - it's very wuxia, all the twists and turns in the plot are, from what I can tell (not having actually read any wuxia myself) pretty standard issue in wuxia stories
