yr welcome to that shit son

a phenomenological description of The Eagles (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:30 (twelve years ago)

Always did Intelligence as a kid. Would have a tough time choosing between Dexterity and Wisdom now.

Kiarostami bag (milo z), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:31 (twelve years ago)

don't forget everybody: i'm talking IRL rather than in game here

(in game i am a bugger for Dexterity usually)

a phenomenological description of The Eagles (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:33 (twelve years ago)

Intelligence, though Wisdom would probably be the, uh, wiser choice.

emil.y, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:35 (twelve years ago)

P sure i had intelligence as a kid i got all the questions right then i got out of school and nobody was in charge of asking me the right questions anymore and things ground to a halt tbph

poll that whitey music pfunkboy (darraghmac), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:38 (twelve years ago)

Not sure I entirely understand the scaling system here. So if I have charisma 18, does that make me, like, James Bond charismatic or are we talking "Macho Man" Randy Savage? Not that I'd baulk at either tbh. Anyway fuck it, CHARISMA every damn time

Windsor Davies, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:39 (twelve years ago)

wisdom. maybe constitution tho

Donkamole Marvin (Shakey Mo Collier), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:39 (twelve years ago)

xxxp - well, the game mirrored what I thought was most important IRL too

Kiarostami bag (milo z), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:39 (twelve years ago)

I'm icing my knee from crouching and standing up all day at work, so dexterity sounds really, really good right now.

Kiarostami bag (milo z), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:40 (twelve years ago)

God, grant me max serenity constitution to accept the things I cannot change, max courage to change the things I can, and max wisdom to know the difference.

ledge, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:41 (twelve years ago)

courage strength. Shit.

ledge, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:42 (twelve years ago)

tbf at max strength you can change pretty much what you like

a phenomenological description of The Eagles (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:42 (twelve years ago)

Oh might makes right huh?

ledge, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:43 (twelve years ago)

What the hell could you do with max constitution anyway. Eat really really really hot chilies?

ledge, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:44 (twelve years ago)

If force compels obedience, there is no need to invoke a duty to obey, and if force ceases to compel obedience, there is no longer any obligation. Thus the word 'right' adds nothing to what is said by 'force'; it is meaningless.

a phenomenological description of The Eagles (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:46 (twelve years ago)

at max constitution i reckon you cd get the shit knocked out of you in a bar-room brawl without falling down, maybe bounce of speeding cars and survive kinda thing

a phenomenological description of The Eagles (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:47 (twelve years ago)

50 Cent possibly at max constitution when shot

a phenomenological description of The Eagles (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:47 (twelve years ago)

18 charisma certainly most useful for 21st century western society

Mordy, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:48 (twelve years ago)

if you had max wisdom wd you say that?

a phenomenological description of The Eagles (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:49 (twelve years ago)

high wisdom just lets you pray to your god for more spells - prayer is boring :/

Mordy, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:50 (twelve years ago)

charisma is basically useless in every computer rpg I've played, or maybe just with my chosen play style of hitting and zapping everything, but I think in real life it's probably the most useful

I have none whatsoever

(constitution also handy, but keep the charisma high too so even though you never get sick you need have no scruples phoning in sick bcz your boss thinks you can do no wrong)

susuwatari teenage riot (a passing spacecadet), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:56 (twelve years ago)

now that's a persuasive argument

a phenomenological description of The Eagles (Noodle Vague), Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:56 (twelve years ago)

However much of those qualities I had 15 or 20 years ago, I've prob got less of all of them today. That includes wisdom, except to the extent that world-weariness can mimic a kind of wisdom. I'm not exactly a spent cartridge, yet, but I'm certainly no speeding bullet anymore.

Aimless, Thursday, 28 February 2013 23:59 (twelve years ago)

Constitution. I've spent far to long being broken over the years.

EZ Snappin, Friday, 1 March 2013 00:01 (twelve years ago)

max wisdom would best help me cope with min everything else

mookieproof, Friday, 1 March 2013 00:19 (twelve years ago)

fiscal cliff racer (bernard snowy), Friday, 1 March 2013 00:28 (twelve years ago)

dexterity is the one I can least conceive of the real-world applicability of. I guess it could make u a successful pro-athlete/surgeon/pickpocket/DDR enthusiast (in declining order of preference)

fiscal cliff racer (bernard snowy), Friday, 1 March 2013 00:30 (twelve years ago)

Surgeon, artist, artisan, magician...

emil.y, Friday, 1 March 2013 00:31 (twelve years ago)

(Not sure why I repeated surgeon when you already had it in there, sorry.)

emil.y, Friday, 1 March 2013 00:32 (twelve years ago)

Charisma, you could be awful at all the rest but still be able to get on.

Chewshabadoo, Friday, 1 March 2013 00:40 (twelve years ago)

Goddammit I voted before seeing that this is supposed to be irl. Ah well, 18 dexterity will be good for my guitar playing I have to assume.

multi instru mentat list (Jon Lewis), Friday, 1 March 2013 01:01 (twelve years ago)

Assuming it maps to "Presence" in the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG, it's the crucial stat for how well your companion characters perform in combat.
