I imagine he wasn't responsible for the English poster, but he had a knack for titles.

A lost Franco film, finished in 1979 and left at the lab when a distribution deal fell through, was recovered and screened last year. It's free on Vimeo with English subs until tomorrow:
Wow, What A Honeymoon (produced as The Gold Bug, after Edgar Allan Poe)

London Live is showing a Franco movie right now, "Eugenie de Sade", I've never seen one before.
― Are Animated Dads Getting Hotter? (Tom D.), Friday, 14 May 2021 23:19 (five years ago)
Sorry, but the lead actor's tartan bunnet is very distracting.

That's an odd one.
The first Franco I ever saw was Venus in Furs (aka Paroxismus) from 1969, the one starring James Darren, and based upon a recent rewatch I think it is quintessential Franco, definitely top 5.

That one is very entertaining, the recurring theme song is amazing. My review on Letterboxd was something like, “an art film, in that he films a lot of art.”
For the record the now broken link I posted upthread was a poster for Sexy Erotic Jobb. Up there with Nightmares Come at Night in terms of his titles.
