Is it cheaper here? More jobs? A specific job? Less racism? More racism? Falling in love with someone on the internet? Better Internet? (I have heard a few Australians complain about something called "Telstra") Citizens of small islands falling in love with vast territories of wilderness? (Presumably this is already taken care of in Australia/New Zealand?) Tired of Canada?

Work.

If I could land a great job and further my career where I used to live, I would do it in a heart beat. However, I think I will transition out of my current career and get a skill set that is more marketable back home.
