The merzbow youtube vids are hilarious there's one from 1991 in a hut somewhere in Japan and you can tell everyone in the audience (like 15 people) are having the worst time of their lives.

Did anybody mention the limited edition that came permanently mounted in a car? Think it was some top end thing like a Mercedez Benz.
Actually looking that story up I came across this which must be true since it's on Wikipedia"Most infamous was the Merzcar. Label owner Anders had a rundown Mercedes-Benz 230[disambiguation needed] that he rarely drove, the police told him to move it or else it would be towed. So, he rigged the CD player to play the label's newest release, Merzbow's Noisembryo, and made it impossible to turn off or remove. He then put the car up for sale as a limited edition of one.
