This was originally going to be "Who would you have been hanging out with if you went to North Hollywood High School: Teri Garr or Susan Sontag?" and then I thought about writing an award-winning play about Garr and Sontag being best friends in high school and growing up in the fifties and sixties, but then I thought to just widen the pool of people who went to North Hollywood HS and let you, the electorate, figure this out, because that seemed more democratic.

There are a lot of show biz connections in this group of people.

Noah Beery Jr. and Micky Dolenz co-starred in the TV show Circus Boy (1956-1958). Later, Dolenz starred in the movie Head, in which Teri Garr had one of her early dancing roles.

Meredith MacRae, Barry Livingston, and Stanley Livingston had regular roles in the show My Three Sons. During this time Buck Taylor appeared on the show as a guest and so did Erin Moran when she was really young.

Martin Milner worked with Noah Beery Jr. on an episode of Route 66 and on episodes of the cop show Adam-12 with Micky Dolenz and Andrew Koenig, which was Koenig's first role in anything.

A lot of these people guested on The Rockford Files, which Noah Beery Jr. was a regular on (playing Jim Rockford's dad).
