i think the daleks fart more as they wear dresses so they can waft the smell away plus everytime they 'exterminate' smoke appears. So they must fart a lot as they exterminate a lot of people.

Personally I am partial to the idea that while they can fart they don't need to as methane is converted into some kind of fuel for their exoskeletons to use.

But you can be sure, if they fart they are not ashamed by it because THEY ARE NOT HAMPERED BY YOUR WEAK HUUU-MANNN EMOTIONS!!!

While they have little use for their whole alimentary tract, cybermen do incorporate organic bits that produce wastes that must be excreted. Whether the gaseous portion is farted or simply exhaled is up to the engineering department.

The minor component hydrogen sulphide appears most responsible for malodour in flatus, and indeed its lethally toxic in concentrations as low as 300 ppm. Probably of little utility to Cybermen (given the vulterability of their organic component), but I'd like to believe Daleks are adapted to high concentrations, and able to make use of nearly pure hydrogen sulfide farts in their extermination campaign.
