Apparently in the Philippines, the word PUTO is a cake, but that word in Spanish means fag.

One morning I locked up my bike (Kona mtb single speed conversion) for work to railings outside a pub that unbeknownst to me was an occasional hangout for cycle couriers. When I cam to unlock it at the end of the day, the pub was thronged with couriers and my bike hidden under a mound of fixies and the like. A swarthy gentleman came to help me retrieve my bike and he said "Hey did you know, in Portuguese Kona is slang for pussy! Heh heh heh. No it's a nice bike though."
