dr vick told me this:

an arts centre in west london was going to be staging a FLEA CIRCUS, which was coming all the way from Italy. Vick was looking forward to it: because of the MARCH OF TECHNOLOGY the amplified visuals were going to be AMAZING.

but performing animals need permits to travel from country to country within the EU: yes you could get a permit for all of your little fleas, but fleas DIE IN JUST THREE DAYS!! so every time you got one set of permits home, you would need another

the rules are inflexible and and the circus had to stay at home!! :(

does anybody else remember library books from when you were a child full of stuff like flea circuses and drawings of crows dressed as people and the thames frozen over? i was fascinated by them.

Like, how do you train them for a start? And how do you get them to stay within the confines of the ring? Someone produce easy to follow documentation please!
