chaki (chaki), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 04:44 (twenty-two years ago)

im trying to play Yokoyama Mitsuteru Sangokushi

chaki (chaki), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 04:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Yoshi's Island is probably the best SNES game ever. Super Mario Kart is great for two players. F-Zero, and Street Figher 2: Turbo are also good fun.

ZSNES is the best emulator by far.

Andrew (enneff), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 04:55 (twenty-two years ago)

i want weird games, im playing boogerman right now.

chaki (chaki), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:03 (twenty-two years ago)

i found a good site too, and super mario all stars has been eating up some precious time lately. i'm using snes9x which works great.

Mitch Lastnamewithheld (mitchlnw), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:04 (twenty-two years ago)

chaki (chaki), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:21 (twenty-two years ago)

good christ.

jess (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Hahaha, Rape Games is the most stupid thing I've ever played.

Stage 1 - alternately press two buttons to whip "the gay" as he fucks some other guy, as he touches the penis of a dominatrix. (the goal is to attain maximum 'erection')

Stage 2 - use same method to eat out a woman.

Stage 3 - use same method to gain an erection as you're fondled by a woman who's gyrating on some sort of dildo thing, until you climax and chop her head off with an axe.

Fun for all the family!

Andrew (enneff), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:38 (twenty-two years ago)

Chrono Trigger is U&K. & I've had more problems with zsnes than with snes9x.

Ess Kay (esskay), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:45 (twenty-two years ago)

man, i remember when chrono trigger came out, people were making such a huge deal about it. any good?

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:51 (twenty-two years ago)

i remember it got this like 10 page spread in nintendo power. haha, since i was like 15 or 16 at the time, perhaps this is not something i should be sharing.

jess (dubplatestyle), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:01 (twenty-two years ago)

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 15:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Chrono Trigger was the best! Really, that's still my favorite RPG.

Dan I., Wednesday, 2 October 2002 19:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Yeh Chrono trigger was the bee's knees. Being an rpg geek too i got a translated version of bahamut lagoon. It had dragons and the whole tamagotchi breeding thing. tamagotchi breeding thing used in a good context = classic

Danny (Danny), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 19:50 (twenty-two years ago)

Mario Kart = SNES version of GoldenEye!

Leee (Leee), Thursday, 3 October 2002 05:03 (twenty-two years ago)

'Mario Paint' sucked.

I remember being about 12 or 13 and buying into the hype about 'Starfox' cuz it was the first game to 'harness the raw power of the FX chip.' Unfortunately, that was all a crock and the game was pretty dumb.

Street Fighter 2 for SNES still stands as one of the best games of all time.

geeta (geeta), Thursday, 3 October 2002 05:20 (twenty-two years ago)

I downloaded SNES9x for Mac, but I have no idea how to set it up. How do I set it up?? I love video games and I wanna play loads of SNES games.

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Thursday, 3 October 2002 06:03 (twenty-two years ago)

''Mario Kart = SNES version of GoldenEye!''

and golden eye is the best N64 game!

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Thursday, 3 October 2002 09:30 (twenty-two years ago)

Ahem did I or did I not mention PRINCESS MAKER??? Made by Gainax?? GO ON.

Sarah (starry), Thursday, 3 October 2002 09:37 (twenty-two years ago)

International Superstar Soccer was the greatest game ever on the SNES, then it became the greatest game ever on the PS1, and later the greatest game ever on the PS2.

Ronan (Ronan), Thursday, 3 October 2002 10:23 (twenty-two years ago)

one year passes...
any others?

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 19 June 2004 15:33 (twenty-one years ago)

smash tennis.

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 19 June 2004 15:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Super Metroid was amazing. And I'll always have a warm place in my heart for FFIII.

Laura E (laurae55), Saturday, 19 June 2004 15:52 (twenty-one years ago)

Super Metroid, for sure.

SNES also had the best version of Mortal Kombat 2. I was so jealous of it, I had a Genesis.

latebloomer (latebloomer), Saturday, 19 June 2004 22:50 (twenty-one years ago)

Smash Tennis had hitting the guy off the mountain! ah....memories

Ronan (Ronan), Saturday, 19 June 2004 23:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I still ritually play Zelda all the way to the end about once a year. Strangely enough, the game for Aladdin actually is pretty fun, too.

I'd also like to hold a candle up to SNES - the last videogame system I felt any sort of enthusiasm for. I'm sorry, but controllers in the post-N64 age of gaming just have too goddamn many buttons and handles. Nintendo got by just fine with start, select, A, B, and the direction pad, and SNES added X, Y, R, and L. It seems now like every new generation of gamepad, though, compulsively needs to add at least six new buttons, as if the system's existence isn't justified otherwise. What's up in the future - giant spheres the size of dodgeballs with nothing but dime-sized buttons completely covering the surface?

Girolamo Savonarola, Saturday, 19 June 2004 23:38 (twenty-one years ago)

i like all the donkey kong games, among others that have already been mentioned, and bubsy the bobcat! also: yoshi's island would have been great if you didn't get that baby crying noise all the time.

j c (j c), Sunday, 20 June 2004 00:39 (twenty-one years ago)

street fighter 2 turbo
super bomberman
international superstar soccer perfect 11

ken c (ken c), Sunday, 20 June 2004 00:48 (twenty-one years ago)

Super Bomberman is the ultimate party game when you set it up for four controllers. 4P SB + DRINKING = AMAZING

Laura E (laurae55), Sunday, 20 June 2004 01:00 (twenty-one years ago)

smash tennis is fkn hard!

g--ff (gcannon), Sunday, 20 June 2004 02:34 (twenty-one years ago)

the snes is a really classic system, one of the best i think. search all the donkey kong country/world/whatever they were games, and all of the mario games, which were really a peak of videogame design i think. and yoshi's island.

s1ocki (slutsky), Sunday, 20 June 2004 02:36 (twenty-one years ago)

smash tennis is the pinnacle of gaming.

cozen (Cozen), Sunday, 20 June 2004 07:59 (twenty-one years ago)

Oh god! Gaming pretty much ended for me when my SNES became obsolete.

Fave games

Super Metroid
Mortal Komabat 2
Mario World
Yoshi's Island
Donkey Kong Country
Mario Kart

*SIGH* They don't make em like they used to...

dog latin (dog latin), Sunday, 20 June 2004 09:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Yes they do! On GBA, which is basically a pocket-sized SNES.

Jordan (Jordan), Sunday, 20 June 2004 12:53 (twenty-one years ago)

omg super off road.

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 26 June 2004 14:54 (twenty-one years ago)

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Saturday, 26 June 2004 16:33 (twenty-one years ago)

and Donkey Kong Country 2.

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Saturday, 26 June 2004 16:34 (twenty-one years ago)

Is SNES9x the only SNES emulator that can't reproduce wind/white noise effects for shat?

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Saturday, 26 June 2004 16:35 (twenty-one years ago)

on one hand i felt starfox was total bollocks (the first game ever to unleash the awesome power of!!!!... triangles) on the other the shoddyness became oddly enthralling and on a further hand that grew out of yr own slapped forehead there was shit like fly into the egg in the eagles claws and reach the flying slotmachine dimension and turn off the snes cos u cant get out

prima fassy (mwah), Saturday, 26 June 2004 18:53 (twenty-one years ago)

Curt1sss: my roomie has a huge problem that when it tries to doa white noise explosion sound in a japanese final fantasy game the volume is out of whack

People love Gravity and Ebullition! (ex machina), Saturday, 26 June 2004 19:00 (twenty-one years ago)

on the third hand there was playing the thing. awful.

cozen (Cozen), Saturday, 26 June 2004 19:00 (twenty-one years ago)

E-A-R-T-H-B-O-U-N-D.

Colonel Cucumber, Saturday, 26 June 2004 19:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Super Metroid is my favorite game ever.

dathompson, Saturday, 26 June 2004 21:55 (twenty-one years ago)

Actually, I think Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, and Super Mario RPG are the only RPGs I've actually finished

Curt1s St3ph3ns, Sunday, 27 June 2004 00:27 (twenty-one years ago)

one year passes...

I think I know what I need to do
