Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:37 (twenty-two years ago)

ok do you have a piece of paper handy?

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:38 (twenty-two years ago)

blow it off

rainy (rainy), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:39 (twenty-two years ago)

also what material comprises the pants? if the pants are not wool, then this will be a lot easier!

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:40 (twenty-two years ago)

pants are denim. piece of paper available. blowing it off not an option as i have a nice carpet.

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:40 (twenty-two years ago)

just get a piece of paper, use your pinky and try and bat the ash onto the paper without rubbing the ash into the pants. cup the paper a bit so that the ash will stay on it.

Aaron Grossman (aajjgg), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:41 (twenty-two years ago)

Lick it up. Or lap it up, yr choice.

Ess Kay (esskay), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:41 (twenty-two years ago)

If the ash is still pretty much in one piece - lick your finger, gently touch the ash with said wet finger, the ash will stick pretty much to your finger in one peice and you can deposit in the nearest available ash tray or dust bin.

If the ash is all over and not in one solidish piece - take your pants off?

gazza, Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:41 (twenty-two years ago)

inhale it

rainy (rainy), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:43 (twenty-two years ago)

upon reflection, i went for the aaron method. got most of it with the paper. pants appear to survive intact, no cig burns either. upon further reflection, took pants off as things are more fun that way. thanks to all for advice!! (except those of you that said to lick/inhale ash, you people are USELESS)

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:49 (twenty-two years ago)

sorry Dave.

rainy (rainy), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 05:59 (twenty-two years ago)

sorry or other?

boxcubed (boxcubed), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:03 (twenty-two years ago)

is this a joke

ron (ron), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:06 (twenty-two years ago)

took pants off as things are more fun that way

you gotta admit though that you were lucky you had them on in the first place (hot ash on bare skin = not nice)

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:14 (twenty-two years ago)

i accept your apology rainy. and hot ash on bare skin is the sole reason that i never smoke with my pants off.

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:15 (twenty-two years ago)

you'll have to start wearing protective clothing when smoking, you mucky pup.

jel -- (jel), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:16 (twenty-two years ago)

i am, you fool - pants

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:19 (twenty-two years ago)

you can't play both sides of the pants issue!! i'm callin you out!

ron (ron), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:20 (twenty-two years ago)

i am Still Wearing Pants and you claim your five pounds

Dave M. (rotten03), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 06:22 (twenty-two years ago)

What colour are said pants? If you don't remove the ash very carefully indeed you could have a mildly dubious looking white mark there...

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 08:01 (twenty-two years ago)

the horror!

ron (ron), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 13:48 (twenty-two years ago)

Rub it in! Geez, am I the only ROCK dude here?

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 13:56 (twenty-two years ago)

at last, a voice of sanity

ron (ron), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 14:12 (twenty-two years ago)

i had a friend who would use the cupped palm of his own hand as an ashtray and when he was done he'd rub it all into his pants (I can't remember what he did with his butt)

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Wednesday, 2 October 2002 15:21 (twenty-two years ago)

huh huh he said butt

ron (ron), Thursday, 3 October 2002 00:03 (twenty-two years ago)

maybe he wiggled it in a victory type dance

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Thursday, 3 October 2002 00:08 (twenty-two years ago)

Did he put it in his shoe?
