Ignoring health and dental concerns I could quite happily upend an open bag of sugar over my gaping maw. Doing the same with salt is a considerably less appealing prospect.

I can put away the sugar only if it's tempered with sourness or tangy-ness--considering I've devoured 3 FrozeFruit bars in the last 15 hours, 6 of which were spent sleeping.

Don't have sugar added to anything, rarely eat sugary foods. So i er guess erm salt.

Sugar. I hardly eat any salt save for what the multinational food conglomerates put into the pre-packaged food that makes up the majority of my diet here in this secret concrete bunker. So I guess rather a lot of salt then.

you can make sweet tea by the pitcher & store it in the fridge. that's pretty normal.

i mean. i made it at . . . idk . . . late. so it was probably more in the half day than day range

this was just a cup of regular lipton shit i heated up on the stove last night and poured sugar into and then left out on the desk

I almost started this poll several times, so I'm glad you did it.

Obviously the mix of sweet and salty is the best. But I'd say salt wins in the end. And it doesn't even take much salt to make something better (including sweet things). A baking blog I follow has been proselytizing a return to salted butter for some time, and for sure the things I bake with salted butter have rocked.

ive drastically cut down on sugar as of last week. it was p bad for like 2 days but now is fine. still do not think i could get down to zero sugar intake ever and do not plan to

well, you can't live without salt. But you can live without sugar, technically. I VOTE SALT.

Had to start cutting down significantly on both a coupla years ago due to blood-pressure and -sugar issues, and was pleased to find that my mental addiction to either is weaker than I thought. But when I find myself craving something unhealthy, 85% of the time it'll be the salty stuff.

My fondness for salt does not in any way preclude an appreciation of sugar.
