Oh I should also note that this is for the office and not for at home so nothing too crazy. That looks good though!

I swear by these:

There are similar ones on Amazon. I have one at home, one at work, one for travel and they're just great.
― toby, Friday, 6 September 2013 05:19 (eleven years ago)
PS depending on mug size, the large size could be better (I have a mix).
― toby, Friday, 6 September 2013 05:20 (eleven years ago)
just go to an asian grocery store and get one of those metal basket filters that fit in the cup — they're dirt cheap and last forever.

this is what i mean:

― Jaq, Friday, 6 September 2013 13:52 (eleven years ago)
either get a real teapot or just DWI the leaves in yer cup
― 乒乓, Friday, 6 September 2013 13:54 (eleven years ago)
the problem with the tea leaves in a small metal ball is that THE TEA LEAVES CANNOT BREATHE (underwater)
― 乒乓, Friday, 6 September 2013 13:55 (eleven years ago)
yours can't, but mine can
― set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 6 September 2013 15:20 (eleven years ago)

― TITTWISORTH (Stevie D(eux)), Friday, 6 September 2013 15:43 (eleven years ago)

― clouds, Friday, 6 September 2013 16:32 (eleven years ago)
get a tea strainer for the cup, leave the leaves loose in the pot, the British have been doing it forever
― kinder, Friday, 6 September 2013 16:45 (eleven years ago)
us 'mericans don't have time to be cleaning up three different pieces of tea equipment, we have a world to run ok
― quincie, Friday, 6 September 2013 16:48 (eleven years ago)
also what clouds and Jaq have suggested, these work just fine ime
I wish I liked tea more. I am going to brew some now (from a teabag--the horror!) and see how it goes.
― quincie, Friday, 6 September 2013 16:52 (eleven years ago)
yeah I mostly use teabags at work #warcriminal

We used to be really into tea. Sadly less so these days. Would be nice to get back into it.
― les don't save me fav (how's life), Friday, 6 September 2013 18:08 (eleven years ago)
i tend to only drink loose leaf tea in winter, when I get in my earl grey mood
the rest of the time it's green tea in teabags
― set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 6 September 2013 18:31 (eleven years ago)
that basket is going to make so many drippy drips all over my desk and keyboard!!
― TITTWISORTH (Stevie D(eux)), Friday, 6 September 2013 18:58 (eleven years ago)
make tea in the kitchen!
― clouds, Friday, 6 September 2013 19:08 (eleven years ago)
... or get a smallish bowl you can use to catch drips as you remove the basket from the cup and then can put the basket into until you're ready to clean up?
― Aimless, Friday, 6 September 2013 19:36 (eleven years ago)
2 teacups, 1 strainer
― Jaq, Friday, 6 September 2013 19:49 (eleven years ago)
i use this. it may not be much better than the classic ball, but it handles my silver needle white tea pretty well. and those leaves are pretty long.
