Something similar. Was definitely huge. Apparently some of the sixties and seventies models ended up in strange places. Someone was trying to explain to me how the privatisation voucher system worked a while back. You got a slip of paper you could exchange for state property up to a certain value (maybe 10k Roubles?). Some of the people who got the first vouchers didn't really get / trust the concept of shareholding the US and World Bank were pushing so just swapped the vouchers for a ZiL, much to the amusement of people who thought it was smarter to invest in mining or whatever or held on to the vouchers thinking they would go up in value. Of course, a huge percentage of the smart people ended up getting swindled out of their shares and hyperinflation meant that people who kept vouchers that could have bought a couple of small vans or a flat at the start of the process ended up exchanging them for a couple of lbs of meat not long after.
