Aside from the dry spell I'm having now, I've never really had a long stretch of celibacy. Nor have I ever been terrible (although I've had terrible sex). But we'll see how I fare next time.

I came very close to breaking the 7-year itch on Saturday. A girl approached me at a bonfire party asking for my phone number etc, it transpired that she was actually there on a first date with some guy (who'd been in love with her since birth apparently).

So after toying with principals and scruples I decided what the hell and ran off to my mates car to grab a pen and paper, wrote down my number, came running back down the hill waving it in the air with glee. Only to see her wandering off with this bloke arguing and shouting at each other.
