nah, he's had haircuts like that before. their hair grows really fast. he was just getting too tangled and it was torture every morning to get him to comb the knots out. he doesn't have rufus's luxurious mane. so maria bribed him to cut it and he seems happy about it. less to deal with. he's like a different kid.

So hard to get the shoes right. I dropped mine off in pirate garb this morning; it's only on looking at my photo that I see his dinosaur trainers don't quite go.

With you on that, Ismael. He loves those mouse/bear boots and there's a real lack of tiny-skeletal-foot styled shoes for babies.

Next year will def be pirate or cowboy though, I think I'm almost more excited than his mum for that kind of thing.
