I don't think I've ever fell in love with anyone I should have fallen in love with.

Dom Passantino (Dom Passantino), Friday, 4 October 2002 09:56 (twenty-three years ago)

pshelly (Simeon), Friday, 4 October 2002 10:09 (twenty-three years ago)

No: I've only been in love the once, and we had 23 years together, most of them fantastic, until a bad end - but that doesn't begin to outweigh 22 wonderful years.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Friday, 4 October 2002 11:18 (twenty-three years ago)

1. Of course, who hasn't? 2. Probably.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 4 October 2002 11:21 (twenty-three years ago)

Archel (Archel), Friday, 4 October 2002 11:39 (twenty-three years ago)

Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out all the above had fallen in love with the same person?

N. (nickdastoor), Friday, 4 October 2002 12:01 (twenty-three years ago)

Yes it was Christian Bale.

Nicole (Nicole), Friday, 4 October 2002 12:06 (twenty-three years ago)

H (Heruy), Friday, 4 October 2002 12:18 (twenty-three years ago)

Who should we fall in love with, then?

Colin Meeder (Mert), Friday, 4 October 2002 13:00 (twenty-three years ago)

First question -- *SIGH* Let's leave it at that (and I still have guilt feelings about things I did and didn't do and shouldn't've done). Second -- I feel that way most of the time.

Ned Raggett (Ned), Friday, 4 October 2002 14:30 (twenty-three years ago)

David R. (popshots75`), Friday, 4 October 2002 18:35 (twenty-three years ago)

yes, one of my best friends' ex-g/fs. we sort of got together one weekend but i didn't let it go too far physically because i wanted to talk to him about it before this girl and i really got together. i was v. v. smitten tho, and expected that this Could Be The Beginning Of A Beautiful Something. then i come over to her place the next weekend when she's having a party and find her grinding on the lap of yet another one of my best friend's close male friends. i turned tail, walked out the door, walked twenty scary blocks across town to the train station at 4AM and took the train back to school. sniff.

Dave M. (rotten03), Friday, 4 October 2002 19:05 (twenty-three years ago)

yes, i'm afraid so. it didn't help matters.

gareth (gareth), Friday, 4 October 2002 23:19 (twenty-three years ago)

What about the fast break girl Andrew?

Elisabeth (Elisabeth), Friday, 4 October 2002 23:42 (twenty-three years ago)

no i have never fallen in love with someone i shouldnt have, probably because i have actually only fallen in love REALLY once.
the phrase 'falling in love' can be used too readily i think, when what is actually going on is infatuation, along with that lovely feeling of romance/newness/lust etc etc.

donna (donna), Saturday, 5 October 2002 00:11 (twenty-three years ago)

I've been trying to forget her, Elisabeth. Thanks. A lot.

Andrew Thames (Andrew Thames), Sunday, 6 October 2002 10:00 (twenty-three years ago)
