Newscorp rumoured to have spent over £60m on defending Coulson, Brooks and three others.

They both avoided any jail time at all, right? And went on to further lucrative careers?

IIRC Brooks resigned from News International (or whatever), was given a payoff of millions of pounds, was acquitted in the phone hacking trial and is now back working for the Murdochs.

Coulson actually went to prison for a bit I think?
