what's that thing that i've been seeing since grade school and still exists on ilx where otherwise normal serious ppl like to make believe that they're president/ruler of the world and they appoint their fictional cabinet, etc. is it just about using one's imagination to handle the psychic trauma of (non)-democratic participation?

i was vice president of junior national honor society in 8th grade, and the escort (tee hee) of the homecoming queen in high school, although i wasn't really on the ballot or anything for that. so 1.5...round to 2.
