Ah Dave, as a Birkbeck student I have to go to the Birkbeck bar occasionally.

Great game of football on the TV though. I know we should support our boys in Europe but its a long time since Chelsea could ever be considered as OUR boys. We probably have more in common with the Vikings.

Its worth leaving that going in another window abnd waiting for it to get to £10000000. You should have tipped me the wink Dave - there's nothing that makes you look more popular around your coursemates than random punter attack (they don't get more random than the President of Birkbeck SU mind and he homed in on me). At Earls Court station, Tuesday, a 40 something woman that looked exactly like DG from accross the platform.

At Paddington Station, also Tuesday, a 40 something woman that looked just like Carsmile.

In Tesco, Manchester, just now, a woman that looked just like Tom, sans beard, but with HAIR GROWN LONG JUST LIKE NED. A more terrifying sight I hope I never see.

1. I'm in Sydney at a bar, and I'm just introduced to a friend of a friend, and he goes... "Phil? From New York? I've been reading your posts on ILE!" [what the fuck??]

2. That SAME day at the same bar, this other friend of a friend who I've met a few times and hung out with a few times turns out to be Charlie No.4 from ILM... craziness. insanity.

I am suspicious at how rarely I spot any ILXers. There are loads here in london, and apart from Pete once I have never bumped into any of them. What are the odds?
